Enrolments

​​​​Currently the enrolment at Daisy Hill State School is over 300 children in classes from prep to year 6.  All information necessary to assist you in joining our community can be found in these related pages. 

Our school is currently enrolment managed.

Out of catchment enrolment applications will be recorded in order of receipt, by date and time.  These applications will remain current only for the school year in which they are applying to enrol.  Where a principal forms a preliminary view that an application will not succeed, parents will be notified in writing.

Enrolment requires that you and your child/children attend an interview.  This can be arranged through the office.  Once an interview has been arranged you will need to bring the following with you on the day:

• completed DHSS Application for Enrolment Part 1
• completed DHSS Application for Enrolment Part 2 Media Consent Form
• completed  DHSS Application for Enrolment Part 3-Enrolment agreement 
• completed DHSS Application for Enrolment Part 4-Internet Access Agreement
• completed DHSS Application for Enrolment Part 5 - Uniform  Policy
• proof of residence (two documents are required. e.g. rates notice, tenancy agreement, driver's licence.
• student's original birth certificate or extract if enrolling in a Qld State School for the first time.
• visa and passport documentation if the student is not an Australian citizen
• any other relevant documents e.g. previous school reports, medical documents, speech therapy reports, some samples of recent school work, would also be valuable to view at the time of interview if they haven't attended a Qld State School previously.
